Officials from Australian Human Rights Commission Discussed Project Plan at NPFPC

On February 2, 2010, Mr. David Robson, Director General, Bureau of International Cooperation, Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) and a project official paid a working visit to National Population and Family Planning Commission of China (NPFPC).

Officials from NPFPC Department of Policy and Legislation and Department of International Cooperation had a friendly discussion with Australian guests on related activities for Australia and China technical cooperative projects on human rights in the first half of 2010.

The Chinese party informed the Australian party of the preparation work for the related project activities in the first half of 2010 fixed by both parties and its progress. The Australian party positively appraised the work done by the Chinese party and expressed their satisfaction with the progress made by various project activities up to now. Both parties also exchanged opinions on detailed issues for executing project activities in the first half of 2010 and reached agreement.


Mr. David Robson put forward suggestions on project activities in 2010.

Both parties held talks.
